3rd space exercise!!!! SPACED OUT!!!! Woohoo!!! No idea How I got so orbited that I feel stoned (minus the anger and paranoia), but its here, so its a perfect time for a description of adjustment perspective, and a light vibration creating exercise. First is #AdjustmentPerspective. This is when we take a moment and realize that we are being affected, and add a filter to everything we think, feel, and do. Im totally spaced right now, didnt realize it till I tried to get in the car and hit my head on the roof, like, the side of my face. Hard. So Claudia asks me if Im okay, and I change my behavior. I let her drive. I know Im not right, so I start altering my behavior immediately, otherwise I will play out the normal program in my head for all my behaviors. I know Im out of it, so I adjust everything to fit that. I give people a wide berth in the grocery store so I dont hit them. I walk slowly. I focus when I pick things up. #adjustmentPerspective seems obvious, but trying to have a conversation while were upset is something we want to do so bad that we ignore the fact that we are in no shape to talk. I could have easily said Im fine after hitting my head and saved the enbarrassment of not being at my best. Could have proven I was fine. It would have been a lie though, one that could have gotten me out of cognitive dissonance at the cost of endangering myself and my love. So, the exercise. Im guessing more than a couple of you are spaced out. So lets try to think of a plan, but rather than a complex list of stuff, just get the feeling of it being all laid out in front of you. The sureness. The trust. The faith. Think of that, and when your mind goes to try to reach for specifics to justify the feeling, engage yourself, and calm that reflex down. It may take a few times. When we feel spaced out we cant organize complex plans. This makes us feel like we will never be able to organize complex plans and leads to fear. It doesnt have to be that way. Just imprint the feeling of everything being laid out, and when your brain goes for specifics, just change the subject and allow yourself to float away. This keeps us from getting scared when were spaced out. That saves a ton. Thanks for playing.
