4 Arrested after Drug Raid on Humes Ave On Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at approximately 1:20 PM members of the Worcester Police Vice Squad had a search warrant for 78 Humes Avenue and a Mercedes-Benz. Jamil Williams was the operator of the Mercedes and did not have a license to operate a motor vehicle. Officers stopped Mr. Williams driving on Belmont Street. A short time later, members of the S.W.A.T. Team entered 78 Humes Avenue to execute the search warrant. Inside the apartment officers located 31-year-old Tameeka Lediard, 34-year-old Aquila Flowers and 25-year-old Randesha Scott. During the search police recovered the following: 20 pages of crack-cocaine, a digital scale, drug paraphernalia, paper work and $3,109 cash. Jamil Williams, 36, of 10 May Street, Apartment 2, Worcester, was charged with Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws, Possession of Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Tameeka Lediard, 31, of 78 Humes Avenue, Worcester, was charged with Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws and Possession of Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute. Aquila Flowers, 34, of 78 Humes Avenue, Worcester ,was charged with was charged with Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws and Possession of Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute. Randesha Scott, 25, of 3 Vernon Terrace, Apartment 2, Worcester, was charged with Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws and Possession of Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute. Ms. Scott also has an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
