4 years ago today I just returned home on leave for Christmas from the army. It was very late and I was very exhausted. After getting settled in I decided to make some macaroni and cheese since I hadnt had GOOD food in a long while. While in the kitchen cooking Cody ran upstairs and I didnt think anything about it. Few minutes later he tells he wants a hug. Of course I had no complaints of course since we had been apart for quite some time. While hugging me he slipped off my promise ring. Of course I couldnt see what he was doing because he was hugging me so tight. I asked him what he was doing and he said I just want to look at your ring I said you what it looks like, you picked it out! He then slipped on my engagement ring and then let me go. I assumed he had just put my promise ring back on. I took a step back and out of the corner of my eye I noticed my ring was more sparkly than normal. So I looked down and to my surpise I had a gorgeous princess cut 3 stone set diamond ring on my finger. In shock I looked up at cody and he had a huge smile on his face. He then got down on one knee and said jessica Lynn Tapley, I love you so much. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. WILL YOU MARRY ME? of course I started balling. And said YES. best decision I ever made! I love you so much babe. Thanks for making me the happiest woman alive.
