5 days ago, my foundation was rocked and began to crumble...... As of 11:05 am our time, my foundation was pulled out from under my feet in a haze of disbelief and deep anguish......but my Mom didnt raise a weak person..... She raised me to be strong and stand on my own two feet and shortly after 11:05 am, thats where I landed. On the foundation I forgot I had built for myself. On my own two feet. Not standing tall and strong just yet. Standing proud, though. Proud to have had the love of this most amazing person as the foundation and soil from which I grew. Feeling relieved.....feeling proud.....feeling grateful......and feeling heartbroken. An odd mix but the positive outweigh the negative and I know that soon enough, Ill be ok.......because she raised me to be!!! I love you, Mom. I know youre soaring high and that makes my heart smile.
