50,000 reasons to get to the Trafford game this Tuesday Following the collections at the Barwell game in December, we are now just £269 short of raising £50,000 since the barrel collections were first started. We’ll say that again - just £269 short of raising £50,000 since we started using the barrels to collect at matches. That’s a fantastic achievement for a club like ours and it means that with a bit of an effort by everyone, the Trafford game this Tuesday could see us surpassing that landmark £50,000 figure. So, if we all make that special effort and donate an extra 50 pence each at the game on Tuesday then we’ll be well on the way to attaining the magical £50k. It’s just another reason to get down to Gigg Lane this Tuesday. Maybe you have been saving your change from the end of last year and haven’t had a chance to drop it into a barrel yet? Maybe you’ve amassed some loose change over the festive period you don’t know what to do with? Whatever you have, now’s the time to come on down please and help us reach that £50k landmark.
