525 am Tuesday - As of Tuesday morning, the Flood Warning for the portions of the East Gallatin River and Bridger Creek near Bozeman remains in effect. Although the river level has fallen to just above the flood stage of 4.5 feet, it has remained steady throughout Monday night. Steadily warming temperatures over the next few days will cause increased melting of high elevation snowpack, which may cause the river to rise again. Also, scattered showers and thunderstorms may cause brief heavy rainfall, which may affect the river level temporarily as well. This situation will continue to be monitored and updates to the warning will be issued as needed.
