6.00a.m Main News On Radio Delta Melody FM 88.6, by Mudiaga Asagba The Headlines: -Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC) has frowned at rising cases of sabotage of its facilities by suspected illegal oil bunkerers in the Niger Delta Region, the Regional General Manager Communication Mr Mr. Philip Mshebilla disclosed this at a press conference in Ekpan Uvwie LGA, SPDC Management also solicited for the co-operation of Community Leaders to assist in curbing crude oil theft in their domains -The Commissioner for Special Duties DESOPADEC Mr Tonye Timi has assured oil bearing communities in Delta State of more infrastuctural Development for their benefit, Mr Timi gave the assurance at the Palace of the Odiologbo of Irri Kingdom Oviese Eba 11 Mr.Timi disclosed that inspection of projects in the area was aimed at eliciting responses from the people on the projects executed by DESOPADEC so far in Irri Kingdom and use the input to determine future siting of projects in the area -The Orthomological Society of Nigeria has advocated for the integration of Primary Health care into the Primary Health Care system in the country, the society made the call in a communique at the end of the 38th annual general meeting and scientific conference in Asaba the state capital
