6 pound CONNIE went to the spa with her foster mom Lynne to see our groomer Renee at, Grooming by Renee Look how beautiful she is :) CONNIE came to us a couple months ago where we pulled her from a high kill shelter after her owner dumped her. Once she got here, her foster mom (Sabrina)quickly realized that this tiny girl had a serious problem with her legs. Our vet Dr. Kadri at Richmond Hill Animal Hospital, saw CONNIE for an exam and recommended that she see a surgeon as he feels she has grade 3 patellar luxation on her two back legs and something going on with one of her front legs. As much as Sabrina and her family wanted to foster CONNIE, it was doctors order to have her moved to apartment living. A place that was quiet, small, no stairs, with someone who could put 100 percent focus on teaching CONNIE not to jump on furniture and to get her pee pad trained. All this was recommend prior to seeing the surgeon. Since she has been with Lynne, CONNIE is doing very well and we will be scheduling an appointment with a surgeon to see what the best options are for this baby. Sabrina has started us off with a donation to go towards CONNIES care. Once her X-rays have be taken and the surgeon has assessed her, we will post her treatment plan and ask everyone to please help out this sweet girl . She deserves the best and that is exactly what she will get!
