With the Federal Budget out today, any sane person will be expecting a facebook homepage inundated with statuses/posts/critics/analysis pertaining to, one of the most important day for a country torn with unemployment and inflation, and an economy crashing under foreign debts but, NO. Its MQM under the spotlight yet again. Seeing statuses by our very own loyal Karachiites, with mere allegations and assumptions of, how Altaf and his party have oppressed generations and plundered Karachi, just tells how extreme one-sided approach some people have. You love Karachi? You care for its prosperity? Go raise your voice against the fact that ONLY 5 CRORE rupees have been allotted for the Karachi Circular Railway Project. Many of the people reading this status have properties and assets totalling to an amount more than that. This again highlights that the PML-N government is too Punjab-centric. Criticising MQM doesnt make you a patriot. End this obsession with the leader of a party who is not in Office, and instead start a substantial campaign exposing the people who purchase bullet-proof BMW vehicles from state treasury, that is YOUR tax. P.S: The tax statement only applies on folks who pay it.
