6th World Traditional Wushu Championships – Information Update E-mail Print 2014-8-5 (614 times) 6th World Traditional Wushu Championships – Information Update The 6th World Traditional Wushu Championships will be held from October 23 to 29, 2014 in Chizhou City, Anhui Province, China. The event will be organized by the International Wushu Federation and the Chinese Wushu Association. Currently preparations for the event are going smoothly. The Local Organizing Committee is making every attempt to organize a successful and memorable Traditional World Wushu Championships. On behalf of the IWUF, I would like to inform you of the following: 1. Entries Please be reminded that the Final Entry deadline is on September 23, 2014. The participating teams are kindly requested to submit the entry forms for the 6th World Traditional Wushu Championships on time. 2. Competition Venue The Organizing Committee of the Traditional Wushu Championships has been established. There are 7 departments in the Committee, each being responsible for different aspects such as competition, reception, accommodation, transportation, security, etc. The competition will be held at the Dayuan Cultural Park of Jiuhuashan. There are 4 competition fields and 2 training fields at the competition site. 3. Accommodation for IWUF officials, judges and teams: The Local Organizing Committee has arranged 5 – 6 hotels for participants. They can accommodate more than 3000 participants. All these hotels are roughly 10 minutes’ walking distance from the competition venue. a. Upon arrival at the Jiuhuashan Airport or Chizhou Railway Station, please look for the sign of the 6th World Traditional Wushu Championships at the Arrival Hall. The staff of the LOC will assist with transportation for arriving teams according to the Arrival & Departure information provided by the participating teams and IWUF officials. 5.
