7.12am... RINGGGGG !!! The sound of my ringing phone jolted me awake and instantly realised that I mustve fallen asleep again !! With no recollection whatsoever on what I was doing before dozing off, I reached for the source of my awakening, whilst starring into a very full glass of diluted whiskey. Are you on the way yet?, I heard the enquiring voice from the mother of my kids. Shit, i fell asleep !!!.....I blurted half in panic & defense as I stumbled and made a beeline for the door. Made it only to the front grill before realizing that I had left my keys in my now locked office. Doing a Mc Gyver, retrieved my keys from the office and allowed myself out only to make a complete U turn again upon reaching the car ... Id also left the car keys in the office !! Tony, the human pin ball finally gets his crap together and heads for home only to catch a glimpse of the car park on the Federal Highway (city bound).. Using the back roads, got home, picked Aden and arrived at his school 20 km away at 8.02am. Typing this, Im sure I mustve made a mistake in the timing or calculations but upon rechecking .... Nope, all seems legit especially if you saw a white Prius doing 190 this morning...
