7/22/14 Dear PAT Friend, Prescott City Councilwoman, Jean Wilcox, has been tasked with crafting a proposal to “re-create” a new Bicycle Advisory Committee to serve the City of Prescott. With that goal in mind, she has asked us at Prescott Alternative Transportation to arrange a casual social gathering to discuss the proposal, what such a committee would look like, and how it might function. We have scheduled the back room at “The Office” (128 N Cortez St.) on Thursday 7/31 at 6:00pm for this function, food and drink will be available to order on a cash basis. We also expect to have City Councilman Charlie Arnold, and Public works director Henry Hash present. If you are interested in improving the stakes for bicyclists and pedestrians in Prescott, please plan to attend.
