. $9.3million?This is one impeachable instance, unfortunately, the NASS has the back of the sitting govt and vice versa knowing fully well Aso Rock will come calling with benefits. And do we call that integrity? The rot in the polity is so problematic..it will take the electorates to wake up and do the needful by voting out the bad eggs among the ranks of the NASS. Had the opposition party not been going through its fragmented in-fighting, lack of distinct focus and below the belts takes of recent, we would have been rest assured of a definite change of guard. In Nigerias case, one cannot decide to change the guard at the top overnight. You will have to start from the pieces of the pussle by starting small overtime from the house and senate elections...there is no check and balance in NASS and I see no reason why the sitting govt should control both House and Senate for this long..lot of good ground and home work need be done by the opposition party..the opposition is not that strong or something fishy for it to have that many folks decamp to its fold only to bailed and scram back...something is not clicking...whatever it is must be buried and turn a leaf...time is of essence and therent that much time before the election cycle closes in. Im hating especially this concerted efforts at covering the leaking ass of the executive branch by its party caucus in all of the gun running scandal, lies, alibi, and the mockery of the nation. Its a non-deserving black eye. Now is the time we start asking questions on the activities of our law makers and their involvement in every scandal that has rocked this nation. Farouk Lawan/ Femi Otedolas bribery allegation, the §20Billion missing fund, now this 9.3 million dollars currency trafficking
