#9762 - I am an expert bullshitter. I feel like I have kind of skated through life based on how well I can bullshit people, without actually accomplishing anything. I was elected President (and Vice President twice) of a university organization, but all three times I served on the council, I did the bare minimum and basically just talked my way out of every situation I got myself in. Somehow I even convinced those people that I should be on the alumni advisory council after I graduated, even though I was seriously a terrible VP and an even worse President. And my last boss thought I was awesome, but most of the day I just pretended to do work. Its weird that I have all of these people who would be willing to write me reference letters or vouch for me; if they knew what I actually did during the day/during my terms on council, they wouldnt. Its a weird feeling, knowing that the only reason these people feel that way is because I can bullshit - a good skill, I suppose - but that I didnt really earn anything or DO anything to merit that.
