A 19 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary in Grimsby. After hearing a loud noise at around 0320hrs this morning (Thursday 29 May), the occupant of an address on Abbey Park drive went downstairs to see what had happened. He was then confronted by an unknown man, who had gained entry to the property, selected two handbags and very quickly ran away. The grey and white coloured handbags contained a number of items including purses, small amounts of cash, a Nokia mobile phone and cosmetics. The occupant of the property was not injured. A 19 year old man was arrested by officers a short distance from the address. He is currently in custody at Grimsby Police Station.
