A CHARITY concert will be held at Churt Village Hall tomorrow (Saturday) in memory of schoolboy Alex Holt. Alex died of a brain tumour in 2011 aged 16 and, inspired by his determination, his family set up the Alex Bolt Fund to raise money for brain tumour research. To date the fund has raised £350,000 through various fundraising events from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to golf days and gala dinners. All proceeds have been donated to The Brain Tumour Charity, to support others that are going through the same thing as Alex. The Alex Bolt Fund Christmas Charity Gig will be held at Churt Village Hall on Saturday, December 20 with tribute band Letz-Zep. Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost £17.50 and under 16s go free.
