A Clouded Snake or Clouded Snail Eating Snake (Sibon nebulata) rests tightly coiled around a banana stalk. As their name implies, these snakes mosaic patchwork of pinks, blacks and blue-grays are difficult to define and make for a frustrating photograph. Clouded snakes never bite humans, and are active on the rain forest floor on wet nights, when they prowl for slugs and snails, their preferred food.
