A LAV DIAZ FILM IN A COMMERCIAL THEATER. That is, his post-pito-pito, post-Regal days. Perhaps, the most critically-acclaimed Filipino film of 2013, Diazs NORTE, HANGGANAN NG KASAYSAYAN/The end of history - singled out as one of the ten-best at Cannes Film Festival, by international film magazines, Film Comment and Sight and Sound, etc. - is finally going to be shown in commercial theaters in Manila and Cebu this month, on limited basis. At Trinoma (3/11), Ayala Center, Cebu (3/18), Greenhills 3 (3/25) and Glorietta 4 (3/31), all screenings at 6:30 p.m. So, friends in Manila and Cebu, please dont pass up this chance. Give ourselves a break from the studios rom-coms and televisions serials. Dont get intimidated by the films length of 4 hours. Be brave in your choice of the films you watch. Be inspired.
