A LETTER FROM SEA>>>>>>>>>>> Time is getting more tougher if not already and no mama/no papa to look after the matter. Here is some situations for bong seaman: No shore leave for bongs in middle east (UAE, Kuwait, OMAN, DOHA) including Saudi Arabia. Even visa is denied for signing on at UAE. For Jeddah sign on/off is already closed. I am the guy who went Jeddah last year and refused to get on arrival visa and they put me towards BD in return flight after giving me 8 hours of most embarrassing moment of my life. No shore leave, Sign on/off in Brazilian ports as our Govt. did not sign ILO convention treaty. When I ask Shipping master to do something regarding this ILO convention , he arrogantly told me, what to be done will be done and file in ministry office. Recently Singapore refused to give visa 1 Bangladeshi 2nd officer/ 1 chief engineer for joining ship. Reasons were not revealed. Bongs are not even allowed to transit Hongkong if your airline is not Cathay pacific or dragon Airlines. This time coming to Japan I have around 6 hrs stay in hongkong. Upon arrival in HK, cathay pacific took my boarding card and passport and kept me waiting in their desk till my next flight and then one staff took us to the next flight lounge and handed over to us to next flight staff. Malaysia is going to close on arrival visa for bongs even mariners. You may need to have visa even you transit through Bangkok in coming year. If you are not having MRP passport then U will not able to sign on/off from Europe/USA/Canada/Australia. So above are the current situation for Bongs. When I see the ruling party whose leader talks worse than a street guy and the foreign minister ------A classic example of useless soft .C......I don’t blame other to treat us like that .....It is our country image what is screwing us right and left and I don’t see any light at the end of tunnel because it would be another night mare to expect some thing from other lady and her party. We all know like other sector all useless and corrupt guys are also in Maritime sectors, yes !!....... Most of those guys never sailed in foreign ship and don’t understand the situation for Bangladeshi Mariner. Imagine!!!! one day maritime sector .....full of Navy alien .....the left right uniform guys who may have all the knowledge apart than marine , ship and maritime Bottom line is all kasundi is that; why foreign company will take pain to recruit bongs if they have to hassle like this; not to mention seeing some lazy sheety Bong junior officers who tooks considerable time even moving their ass and who dont appreciate the pain we have gone through in foreign company to uplift our image. Hence sooner we will be jobless in foreign company. So in the mean time enjoy ur stay in ship and of course sundays biriyani. Congrats to those who able to change their passport color!!!!
