And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. Genesis 37:4-5 The life of Joseph was filled with a lot of opposites. He dreamt a dream and his dream took him to the prison, but another persons dream brought him out of the prison. He was a liability in his fathers house, but a celebrity in a foreign land. Those he knew forgot him; those he didnt know sent for him. He was once a property in Egypt, but later Egypt became his property. He was once a servant in Egypt, but later became a master in Egypt. At a point in his life, everything about him was bad news; as a young man, his mother died, his brothers hated him because of his dreams until they nearly killed him and later sold him into slavery. In slavery, Potiphars wife wanted to have him, but he refused and was thrown into prison for what he didnt do. He interpreted the dreams of the butler and baker, but they forgot him after they got out. But a day came in his life when he became the only source of good news for the whole world. He had an answer to the famine that nearly killed everybody. Maybe your life has been like the life of Joseph at one time, with nothing positive coming out of it but as from today, good news shall be your portion, in the Name of Jesus! Where you were once a servant, in that same place, you will soon become a master. There are people you know that have forgotten you, but there are others you dont know that will soon send for you, in Jesus Name! If you were taken for granted in your fathers house, very soon, your family members will hear about your elevation; they will look for you where God has promoted you to and will come and bow to your authority, in Jesus Name. Remember that as from today, good news shall be your portion! Study the life of Joseph and why God took him up. Do what Joseph did to reach where Joseph reached. Now pray with me Lord, I know that all things are working out for my good. I shall continue to put my trust in You, Lord, in Jesus Name.
