I have been facing a lot of questions about why I am jumping to have a csection or why I cant just wait to have my baby naturally.......well here is the answer. The baby is tansverse right now, meaning that she is sideways in my uterus. I have a septated/bicornuate uterus, which only presents itself in about 0.5% of women in the world. Hadley has NO WAY of being able to turn to face down and into birthing position, it is NOT medically possible for her to come out naturally. I was told years ago that I would never have children, and the fact that I am pregnant and this far along is a miracle in itself, so I am not willing to risk myself or my daughters life by my own selfish wants of having her naturally. If it was possible, believe me, I would wait for as long as I could for her to come when she is ready. I am making the decision that is best for my daughter first and foremost, and for myself and my family. As of yesterday I was 1cm and 80%, and my water sack was very low, so I was told by my doctor that I could have my water break and/or go into labor at ANY TIME. If and when that does happen before the scheduled c section, I am going to be having an emergency c section. I am at risk for her umbilical cord to present itself immediately after my water breaks, and at that point she is at risk of losing oxygen which can be very harmful to her. Hopefully this answers some questions for all of the people that are continuing to ask, or who just cannot understand why I am chosing to go with the c section route. I dont like it anymore than anyone else does, I want more than anything to be able to deliver naturally, but it is not possible, so I know that I am doing what is best. All I want is a happy healthy daughter, and the only way that is going to happen is by me making this choice. It hurts me to have to answer the questions or have to defend my choices several times a day, so please after reading this either understand or just keep it to yourself. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uterine_septum
