A LIGHT that did indeed burn brighter than the average mortal being. One of the reasons that so many people have commented on his passing...some people have a profound iimpact on others..as Robin did.....in a variety of ways...what is remarkable is that while we mere mortals love each other and mourn a dear friends passing...when someone with the capacity to reach our deepest levels of emotional connectiveness..then we are all moved to comment or pay tribute or somehow, feel we want to rise to the occasion of sharing our grief and loss. That does not minimize our love for our relatives or friends or neighbors, but rather to share grief that is truly universal...to reach out ...just as Robin was a public figure..then so our outpouring of sympathy, loss, appreciation and genuine respect becomes public......He did impact the universe with his talent, his wit, his manic ability to host a human zoo within his psyche...until it became too much....and we mourn that aspect that is truly within us all.....
