...A METAPHOR..........the COCONUTS and the BAMBOOS......symbolic of a FILIPINO......every time I see these two; the tall swaying coconuts and the steadfast, towering bamboos. ...I always think of them as a virtuous Pinoy---sturdy, strong-willed, hard-working , tough, patient and pliant like the bamboo...and could stand the test of times...disasters and other wrath of nature.....OMG! .......IM proud to be a Filipino..likened to the coconut and bamboo...very versatile and creative....one can make hundreds of products out ot these TWO....from their barks, roots, stem, leaves and their fruits and nodes....God gave us a lot of these in our mother country to symbolize our VIRTUES......plenty in Maui, too. .....Enjoy reading...agree or not, I care less...because Im free to write and express my thoughts...ENJOY LIFE!
