A MUST share!! I have 4 kids most know that. My husband works two jobs and he works so very hard and ALL the time for us. Ive felt very sorry for myself lately. Trying to Christmas shop with a 3 and 4 year old is virtually impossible. Im not looking for pity or help, I love my life and I realize this is just a tough stage. Last weekend I had a list a mile long of things to do so out I went. I left Macys (only the second store) flustered...I sat in the car and cried my eyes out. I mean ugly cry lol. The girls were rotten lol. I went home and pretty much gave up. Well, here we go again. I head out with the little ones hopeful things would be different today...and in the middle of walmart Im shaking with frustration once again. Girls screaming, crying, standing in the basket. Im exhausted after a Christmas party at school today, in my pjs, no makeup, the girls have chocolate all over their faces from their earlier pre-k party. We look a pure mess! A man walks by and starts talking to the girls. Hes friendly, oddly wearing sunglasses in the store. They naturally get quiet and shy away. I jokingly told the man to please keep talking so I can have a moment of quiet. He looks up and pushes something into my hand. Before I realize what it is he had walked half way down the isle. He had stuffed a 100 dollar bill in my hand. I told him I would not take it and he said put it on the ground for someone else then..and he was gone. I stood there in shock and in tears. I realized he probably wouldnt have done that if the girls were behaving and I had looked put together. I plan to pay it forward 100%. Ive already handed out a $20. Its amazing what one act of kindness can do to ones soul!
