A Poem by THOR GARY My Serendipity: Hearts light as a feather 9 minutes away from you but a million miles apart. She sees unicorns and dragons and I see 9 minutes on my bike. You have to work a double shift and I shift in second gear. 9 minutes of my life just to start my life. Baby do you have the time, Baby do you have one more chance in you? I knew from the first time I pushed you up against the wall of the barn in the moonlight I took what you gave freely. You are my serendipity of a cosmic collision with fate. All the choices that can be made in a single moment in time, turn left or right, north or south. I end up in a room of nameless faces till I see your face that I know but I do not know. Like a magnet of mother nature we are drawn together by forces stronger then both of us. So many life treads leading in all different directions. The one life thread that is red like my own running into the future of the cosmos together for entirety. Is this chance or fate? Makes me almost feel like its worth trying again? Colors on the page, all fade to white. Like the first time I noticed your shadow that you cast freely on my face. When life sweeps you off your feet. Are we ever really ready for the lions den? Its all just a leap of faith. Baby when I am walking with you my eyes are wide open. Just one more rodeo, Am I too old ?
