A Testimony and a Message of Thanksgiving First, I would like to take the time to offer up a humble sacrifice of praise to the ONE and ONLY TRUE GOD YHVH. On Friday, August 8, 2014 an event took place that truly devastated my husband Lonnie and I. Words cannot fully explain the extreme helplessness we felt as everything we owned was being destroyed. All materials things we held to be so dear to us were utterly taken away in a very short time. We were forced to watch several years of memories, precious tokens of memoirs, rise up in smoke. It is my personal belief that the fire which consumed what we deemed so important was on out right attack from the one that seeks to destroy, Satan. However, I must testify to the power, dunamis from the Greek #1411 in the Strong‘s Concordance from which we get our word dynamite, from upon HIGH came quickly and swiftly. If I could only find a way to utter, in my human element, the words to purport the magnitude of HIS POWER and HIS awesome protection during a time when everything of personal value around us was taken away, all would instantly bow in praise to the ONE and ONLY living GOD YHVH. In closing, I am reminded of a of scripture similar to our experience. In 2 Chronicles 20 you will find a king of Judah, Jehoshaphat by name, who, like me/us at times, displayed human errors toward GOD. Nonetheless, when evil came upon him and his nation, he executed wisdom in that he sought out the one and only TRUE protection, our Heavenly FATHER YHVH. The point I am trying to drive home is whether the evil that may come upon any of us come in the form of sword, judgment, pestilence, famine (2 Chronicles 20:9) and I might add fire there is only ONE that can carry you safely and lovingly through hardship and HIS name is YHVH. While although there are other scriptures I am reminded of such as Judges 6 & 7 the story of Gideon or 2nd Kings 6 the narrative of Elisha and his servant. We can truly attest to the awesome power of YHVH. The experience my husband and I went through on that fateful Friday cannot compare to the reality we endured with our HEAVENLY FATHER. I can truly attest to the words that Elisha uttered, “Fear not: for they that be with us are more than…” any enemy or principality. Thank you HEAVNLY FATHER for your gracious love and protection. And, thanks to all of you that kept Lonnie and I in your prayers and for all the supplies and support you have provided us. We cannot really find the words to express how thankful we truly are.
