A Utah county commissioner led a protest against the BLM Saturday, - TopicsExpress

A Utah county commissioner led a protest against the BLM Saturday, illegally taking ATV riders down a trail closed by the feds seven years ago. Armed militia members as well as Cliven Bundys son, Ryan, participated in the action as well. San Juan County Commissioner Phil Lyman organized the ride to protest what he calls overreach by the BLM, which closed down the tail because it had damaged several valuable archaeological sites. BLM officials were nowhere in sight, having been sent home Friday to avoid any confrontation. Was the ATV protest a good idea? Do you agree with Lyman? Should the BLM re-open the trail? sltrib/sltrib/news/57909181-78/amp-blm-canyon-county.html.csp
