A beautiful soul passed from this world early this morning; an elderly woman member of my parish of whom I have become very fond over the last few years. She had been very ill for most of the last year, and as her husband said to me on the phone today, we think of her with joy now and not sorrow. Please say a prayerfor her dear husband who is dealing with losing a spouse and the upheaval of mild dementia at the same time.
