A brief explanation for my non-Disney friends who are wondering who The Billys are and why Im trying to help save them. They are a group of extraordinarily talented and multi-faceted performers who have been one of my very favorite things about Disneyland for many years. Just phenomenal musicians and comedians who have been packing the house and delivering wonderful entertainment for more than twenty years. Disney recently announced that they are retiring The Billys on January 6. I am not authorized to speak for the guys, but trust me that this decision is neither mutual nor popular. I rarely lobby my FB friends, but this is something Im really passionate about. So please consider signing the petition at change.org, calling or emailing or sending snail mail to the Disneyland resort, or even just hitting attending on the Save Billy Hill and the Hillbillies event on FB.
