A careful study of workers special features in advanced industrial - TopicsExpress

A careful study of workers special features in advanced industrial states reveals that the working classes are different to those of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. As mentioned earlier, the numbers of workers and those from rural areas within advanced industrial nations are decreasing, while the number of technical workers and technicians is on the increase. Less than five per cent of ordinary workers and those from villages in advanced industrial states are engaged in work on farms, and about ten per cent of industrial workers are in factories. Remaining positions are occupied by town technicians and specialized workers. The scientific and technological revolution will do away with all forms of old relationships, and physical workers in future will form insignificant minorities. This condition is already evident within industrial countries and has turned itself into a reality. The classifications of intellectuals during the techno-scientific revolution undertaken by the Islamites have lost their significance. The contemporary techno-scientific revolution has introduced a new color to the social evolutionary process. It disproves the analytical standpoints of Islamites with regard to intellectuals. This is mainly because the intellectuals and the intermediate classes will eventually take control of the means of production across the social domains and will form the majority force in an industrial society. Both within advanced industrial capitalist countries and of advanced industrial Islamic countries, in future years, changes will occur in the relation between intellectuals and workers, and these changes will occur in the definition of intellectuals and that of workers. Against the backdrop of Islamic leaders extravagances, the hands of workers will no longer build Islamic society. But the objective world with the qualitative changes taking place regarding intellectuals and workers and their transitional mentality towards Islam will impose a new reality across the field. Evidently, the Islamic leaders are not prepared to acknowledge the realities in connection with intellectual status and instead are continually repeating the old concepts. Based on the views of Islamic leaders, no class exists within Islam, and therefore, every citizen is considered equal. But this philosophical stand is only a myth, and the reality is that the classification of individuals is deeply rooted within the fabric of Islamic society, which is operating continuously. In Islamic societies after so many years and after many generations, the Islamic leaders, in their evaluations, still resort to Islam’s first principles, set out fourteen centuries ago. It must be asked, where do the white-collar workers come from? Are they not from the families of workers and farmers? Why, after tens of years, are they still placed in separate classes? Is this not a game played simply for the benefit of the limited Islamic leadership? In Islam there is talk about educating workers. It can only be deduced that, along with advances in technical fields, the intellectuals will form the majority production forces in society. This is a function that is perfectly operational throughout the Western advanced industrial countries. But the autocrat Islamic leadership does not acknowledge this reality. They are witnessing the realities of a global techno-industrial revolution, but their group interests are not prepared to digest it. Against the objective realities of industrial advancements, the Islamic leadership contemplates pushing their ideological stand within developing-world states, and without any consideration for scientific advances, they claim to represent the cradle of revolution. Indeed, could anyone deny the fact that Islamic states are far behind in the advancing fields of science and technology? If it had not been for Islamic propaganda, could it be doubted that there would have been great advances made in the abovementioned fields? Have Islamic leaders realized that the so-called Islamic societies have undergone heavy backward blows simply for the Islamization of their concept of economy?
