A couple weeks ago, my husband was trying to move our 50in plasma TV a few inches and wound up tipping the whole thing over, and the super heavy television fell on his head. The screen shattered, it scratched the heck out of our beautiful media stand, and of course gave my poor husband a MAJOR headache. Well, today we finally bought a new tv, thanks to Kris Herghelian who, BTW, always has amazing electronics at even more amazing prices. Then we went shopping to buy a new stand. Heres my take-home lesson for all you couples about to be married: Before you say your vows, build a piece of furniture with your S/O. If you build it, and still like your partner afterwards, go ahead with the nuptials. If not, either include wedding vows to only purchase items that are already built, or shake hands and part friends! After a few deep breaths, a couple time-outs, and needing to express the difference between frustration with the mutha $@&*ing stand and being mad at each other, we are now snuggled up, watching the new television and admiring our fine craftsmanship! ;)
