A day of blood infusions (2 pints) and watching the heart monitor. She was blue as she puts it, when I arrived at the hospital. She missed reading her Bible. So I read to her from the book of John and todays Proverb and then Psalm 91. Her spirits soared! I told her she leaked and needed to be refilled. She laughed and said, You are so right. I remember Pastor Tim teaching us that! Aunt Bernice is a real trooper! Her right arm is in a tight sling with broken bone in three places, broken nose, large needles poking her left arm as it infuses rich healthy blood into her body to strengthen her, antibiotics and who knows what else is being pumped into her, yet not the first complaint of pain or just a complaint. Live this woman of God! If her vitals remain normal tomorrow, surgery on her broken arm will be scheduled for Thursday. Gods in control and our trust is in Him alone!
