A different type of interview I would say. Instead of asking cliche interview questions, my interviewers asked the following questions (some of them) 1) Whats your opinion about Liverpools performance in the EPL recently and what went wrong with MU My Answer: Being an Arsenal fan, my views might be biased but Liverpools defence mechanism is mind blowing and they deserve the victory. MU needs Alex Ferguson again! 2) Whats your opinion about the conflict at Russia. What would you do if you were asked to be a diplomat to sort this problem My Answer: Independence is a right for every state given the fact their borders are defined and they have sovereignty. In that sense, using military force is not a strategic approach. Russia needs the state for economic purpose. Agreement to share the resources would be my suggested solution and path way for an election. 3) Many say that Arab Spring is a revival of democracy. How you feel about this. My Answer: Initially it was a beginning point to revive democracy. However, in the long run, after throwing the autocratic regime, democracy failed the people or could be the other way around. Democracy comes with a price and anyone who champions it must have a sense of responsibility. The question is whether the people are prepared to pay the price and be responsible. There is no absolute structure for a state. It should be combination of all and there is no such thing genuine democracy. 4) What went wrong with this MH370 crisis. My Answer: It was communication. We had a communication crisis and conflicting instruction and information. They picked my answers and related to how things will be in an organization. Impressive Following that, they asked technical questions on project management and asked me to explain the steps I will take to execute the project. This is where the project dashboard, tasks dashboard and etc came in. Very interesting point here is I was served with coffee while being interviewed. And then discussion went on with the nature of work and so on. The turning off point here is if succeed, I need to begin my new job at Perth in October. But I have two semesters to go for my Masters. I hope I Dont end up in a dilemma soon. BTW, people thank you for all the good luck messages. You guys are great :) Now time to get back to my real work :)
