A fabulous cultural evening in St Petersburg. The Hermitage Museum, which was closed to the General Public and there was only a bus load of people off the ship there.We were gazing at paintings by Rembrandt,Botticelli, Leonardo Da Vinci, and sculptures by Michael Angelo. The climax was a concert by the St Petersberg Symphony Orchestra followed by a glass of champagne still in the museum. Imagine listening to rousing music by Tchaikovsky , Beethoven etc in such beautiful surroundings ! Magic ! X
