A few months back I was contacted by Alfredo (Nubian Records) and asked about a photograph I had taken during the Bristol riots (in Stokes Croft) a few years ago. He wanted to know if Id be willing to licence the photograph to Bristolian roots/rock/reggae band, Black Roots, so they could use it as an album cover for their next release - Ghetto Feel. What you see attached to this post is the resulting album cover, thats my photo of the burning car (corner of Upper York St. and Wilder St. in St. Pauls for those interested). The website linked will also allow you to stream the album so you could have a listen to their music (I dont tend to listen to reggae but it sounds pretty good to me, nicely mellow).
