A few people have asked for an update about my doctor’s appointment this week so I thought I would share. Everything is looking good so far. My after meal blood sugar readings are looking good, but my fasting blood sugar in the morning is still running a little high so they decided to put me on some medicine. The good thing is I do not have to take insulin this time! I so did not want to have to give myself shots again! Because of the gestational diabetes and my past history, my doctor wants to refer me to a doctor who specializes in high risk pregnancies for a consultation to develop a game plan for the rest of my pregnancy. They are also talking of moving my due date up from January 14th. We will know more about that within the next few weeks. I am also having another ultrasound done next week just to make sure my little guy is still developing as he should. I am very thankful for all the prayers! God is good and I know He is with me and my little guy!
