A fierce little woman with amazing drive and passion walked to Twin Point Tavern in rain, sleet, snow, & tough times. Her daily consistent effort yielded huge results. She lived 101 years & survived the great depression. Yet she still got up every day with resilience knowing what she needed to do. She drank beer & ate lard. She giggled & loved & didnt concern herself with pettiness. She wore pin curls, simple white sweaters, & comfortable shoes. Today & every day we honor what this auntie taught us.
