A pregnant Diana Damrau accompanied by harpist Xavier de Maistre, on Richard Strauss gorgeous 1894 lied Morgen (Tomorrow.) This piece is often accompanied by piano or violin and sometimes full orchestra, but the harp gives it a unique tenderness, which brings out Damraus breathtaking purity and power of voice. Even watching her preparing herself in the elegant harp intro is fascinating.
