A final caveat on the Brand V Paxman showdown. The brilliance - TopicsExpress

A final caveat on the Brand V Paxman showdown. The brilliance of Brand TV is that is he the classic libertine hero throwback, re-incarnate...and provides far far far more entertainment than your usual puppet show. Let establish this too: 1. Is he the answer to all our problems? You mean like Obama, and Blair? Lololol. What and insane notion. He is a tv character/personailty and an instrument of a movement...groomed, and networked...hence his regular tv spots. Its imposible to get airtime unless you know the right people. 2. Will his tv outburst (;)) create a revolution with the dozy lot in our populations? Not as long as x factor and corrie is on tv. 3. Will the top 1% ever redistribute their wealth? Never in a zillion years. So does he mean redestribution of middle class? Their is no wealth their to redistribute. So does he mean corporations? Perhaps...this is where redistribution occurs...and I suggest, this is the sector that currently backs him as the instrument of this change. Long story. 4. Some people suggest, he is a eloquent baffoon, that strings long words together but knows nothing of the issues and politics. Of course he knows the issues...and so do the people that back him. He is seeing things we dont see on mainstream tv...and speaking to people pulling the strings. 5. Does he serve good or bad, evil or light? Seen these threads pop up too. Ask yourself this. Do you support child labour, and banana republics? Then why do you worship apple computers and diamonds??? In reality, its all just a super entangled game of symbioses...multiple agendas...with multiple intent....and you as the public are trained to be polarized, when in truth their is no such thing, never has been, and never will. Ie...we think in day and night...but its just a degree of a cycle. We think of left or right...but its a consensus or millions of micro agendas. 6. Can revolutions ever be any good? Peope think a revolution removes the tyrant to be replaced by our lord saviour. Thats the idealist view anyway. Revolutions NEVER happen like this. The last thing we need is a radical revolution. What will happen is a million new agendas will now tussle for the position...as we all seem to be needing a leader. Its the human condition...whether its ghandi, buddha, obama, or the alpha in your social group. 7. Where will Brand take us? Lets wait and see how it unravels. His introduction to the premier league media landscape, means a lot of ultra powerful individuals like him...and so various things are clearly changing...that some of us will either find beneficial or not. 8. Will Brands tv career, and perhaps a run at politics ever lead to global egilatarian socialist revolution? Perhaps...but a 0.000001 % chance...so its a small perhaps. Does the motif of this revolution tick the right boxes for corporations that want to change the economic, business and social landscape to align with their more spiritual tuning. Precisely. What will the nuts and bolts of this change look like? Nothing like the idealist and positive anarchists vision, or the wishful thinker, or the living in fairy land thinker. Simply, things will appear to serve this cause. We are always complicit or directly entangle or embroiled in a process and string of events far far far far far far deeper and more complex than you will ever know. TV is a show...paid for by people at the top...to manipulate a variety of outcomes...that is either serving or non serving to the audiences taste. Did you not buy your MAC, built by child slaves using materials raped from afirca, via banana replubic tactic...after watching M Jordan hangtime, wearing trainers made by child slaves in countries purposely supressed, to create this disparity used within the free market system? Yes you did. And 99% of you know this. Without the disparity...business and econimics grinds to a halt. Capitolsim and socialism in their true forms have pros and cons...that 100% of the population will never ever agree on. Its a kind of polarization of a concept that may require about 1000 permuatuations to serve everyones needs equally...but that doesnt serve the corporatocracy. Thats enough politics on facebook for me for a while lol x
