A fine time was had by all today at the Whitewater Preserve...bunch of us motored up there, some in THE BUS driven by Adam and Beth Iyaman, with little uns Solar and Fancy, and Jenn and Aaron Quintyn with other little uns Chloe and Roman, and Tricia Pilkington with her uns Ashi and Makai and friend Alex--you can fit a lotta people in that bus, and the caravan continued with Kaarin Elizabeth with HER spawn Buddha and Wolfgang, and my car with me and buddy Tressa--we were missing Sue Anderson, who had to work-- but that place is a GORGEOUS OASIS, unspoiled, with a broad wading pool thats about maybe two feet deep and the kids of course plunged but ALL the grownups were like, Uh, that water flowing down from the mountain is COLD, YO, and it might be 95 degrees out, but that water is cold, YO, and Im pretty sure we all had had visions of us rolling around in that shallow water, but alas, none of us did!! We walked around in it pretty effectively, but did I mention that San Bernadino Mountains river was COLD? Yo?
