A friend of mine posted about a Dog Show aired recently. It was competition type show. Apparently speaker person called it a German Shepherd when in fact it was a Malinios. Now I understand this frustration as it frustrates me ad well. But a person in thread remarked how everyone knows GSDs cant jump. Well thats my frustration as those arent GSDs. Those are AKC created rug ornaments. A MWD/Schutzhund GSD can jump and climb as good as any Malinios. And thats why when I hear my GSD weighs 110 lbs I flip out. Capt Max von Stephanitz had very strict rules to adhere to. On his dying bed he begged please keep my German Shepherd Dog a working breed only. In other words creating rug ornaments is a dishonor to his dying wishes. But a REAL GSD sure does and can jump. Rant over.
