A friend of my started a message thread with this rant, that I wholeheartedly agree with... Hi all my Conservative/Libertarian friends! Im so frustrated by what happened in Virginia. The Libertarian candidate was backed by a Democrat bundler, and what happened in Virginia continues to kill any opposition to the Democrat agenda. . . operation divide and conquer seems to be working so well for the Democrats. When will the opposition (Republicans/Libertarians/Tea Party) get their act together? They shouldve supported Cuccinelli, instead he lost by a mere 2% and the Libertarian took 7% . . . the Republican shouldve won by 5% . . . principle doesnt mean anything if you lose the election! Im so disappointed, and believe more than ever that we are dealing with Fascists, not Socialists, in the Democrat Party . . . they want to quash any opposition, and worse we, the opposition, are making it easy for them. I am very much a Libertarian at heart, but Im a pragmatic realist as well. Weve got to get united within the Republican Party . . . a third party will destroy any chance of stopping the Democrat agenda . . . geez history is repeating, and Im so frustrated that we are just like those principled, but severely misguided people in pre-Nazi Germany who tried unsuccessfully to fight Hitler. Were definitely headed for Fascism here . . . forget the fear of Socialism, much worse will be on our doorstop if we dont start winning important elections . . . Virginia was huge! Look out Wisconsin will be next to let a good Republican governor be defeated We cant continue to become useful pawns to carry out the mission of the Democrats . . . that is ,to obliterate the opposition. The Libertarian candidate was backed by a former Democrat bundler . . . they have to make people aware of that too! The Democrats are using the oldest tactic in history to defeat an opponent . . . Divide and Conquer . .. and they are laughing at how easy its been! Cuccinelli wouldve won easily if the Libertarian had not been on the ballot. The sleazy Democrats like McAuliffe have no shortage of cash coming their way. Republicans/Libertarians/Tea Party have to get over their respective egos and get united for the good of the country . . . or we WILL all be Democrats (no choice) Sorry for the rant! Id love to hear your thoughts!
