A friendly request: I noticed that this page has a lot of members and it will continue (I believe) to grow. I know that I am one that doesnt know when to zip her lips (LOL) and I rarely can resist chance to voice my opinion. However, it is impossible for me to be at any meeting because of my daughters activity schedule and the fact that they no longer attend the school which always puts me out of town. My request is that many of you start attending the board meetings (both town and school) on a regular basis for those who cant. Even if we dont all see eye to eye, we need the community to start to actively participate and hold the boards accountable for their actions. I know I will complain but deep down I know that I am to blame because I cannot be at these meetings and can only make the time when something really pertains to me. I know I dont know what is going on and I hear most things third or fourth hand. If a few people could step up and post here, it would be so helpful because then we can positively change or actively participate (or even help support/oppose). Even if we can find only one or two people to be at each of these meetings, it would surely help all of the community.
