A great big BBC Thank You first of all to the Old Kings Highway Historic District Committee, the Brewster Historic Commission, the Community Preservation Committee, the Brewster Board of Selectmen, and the the Brewster Finance Committee for supporting our request to be on the Town Warrant for $200,000 in CPC funds to help us repair the oldest and most historic part of our church on Route 6A. Thank you to all the Brewster voters who came out for Town Meeting and all the BBC residents and non-residents who came and stayed for more than three hours and fifteen minutes in order to make sure we were strongly represented for the vote on approving Community Preservation Funds. While I was prepared and actually looking forward to speaking in favor of our request, not a single person rose to say a negative word so there was no need. Were grateful for all the support weve received throughout the process and are delighted to have received an overwhelmingly supportive positive vote for our request. Finally, BBCs outstanding Building and Grounds Team Chair, Dave Hill deserves a huge thank you from all of us for shepherding this project for almost a year. Great job, Dave! I will go to sleep especially grateful tonight!
