A great opportunity for our well deserving students!!! United World Colleges (UWC) and The AMAN Foundation have signed an agreement which would enable twenty or more students from Pakistan to attend UWCs globally to complete the International Baccalaureate which is a two years pre university program. UWCs bring together students from all backgrounds and all over the world to learn and live together. The schools were based on Kurt Hahns philosophy that unless young people from different backgrounds come together to understand their differences the world will continue to face conflicts. Please do have a look at the website: uwc.org UWC and other donors will fund 10+ scholarships nationwide while AMAN will fund 10 scholarships for underprivileged students from Karachi preferably girls. The opportunity is for students who would have completed their Matric/O Levels/ Aga Khan Board or First Year Intermediate by August 2014. Applications for students open in the last week of November and will be made available through our website pakistan.uwc.org. Deadline to apply is Jan 31.
