A great way to experience a farm dinner for not a lot of money. This Wednesday at Baby Goat Central: The Lyons Farmette. Food Truck Farm Dinner Wednesday, June 12th 6:00 – 8:30 No RSVP Necessary We’ve all heard stories from our grandparents about how they knew summer was coming to the farm when the food trucks arrived. The Lyons Farmette would like to take you back to yesteryear with an Early Summer Food Truck Dinner and Open Bluegrass Pick. We’ll have the long, farm table set up under the cottonwood tree, or you can bring a blanket and picnic on the lawn. The big green Heirloom truck will be here, as well as Bon Appetite Mobile Bistro and Crust’s copper-clad mobile wood-fired pizza oven. Please join us as we welcome summer and all the good things that come right up out of the dirt and feed us. Those things will still be tiny on June 12th, so Food Trucks it is! Bring your instruments for the bluegrass jam, or just bob your head in time to the music. This is gonna be fun! This farm dinner is also a benefit for the Boulder County Arts Alliance. The BCAA will be selling wine and beer at the dinner for their organization. They will have a wonderful selection to complement the menu. Please do not bring your own wine or beer ~ you can plan on buying it here by the bottle or glass. You can pay for wine with cash or by check. Heirloom Food Truck is dedicated to serving the freshest ingredients possible. Our menu is designed to feature locally grown produce and meats creating street foods from around the world. Crust Wood-fired pizza made right before your eyes and baked in an 800 degree, copper-clad oven. We use local, organic ingredients, lovingly placed on hand-stretched dough made from organic, Colorado-milled flour. We’d love to feed you! There’ll be hand pies, too–little fruit pies that fit right in your hand. My grandma taught me how to make pie. I’m pretty good at it. Bon Appetite Mobile Bistro serves unique and delicious rustic French food. And what exactly is “rustic French food”? Rustic is described as characteristic of, or living in the country; rural. With this in mind, our food is lovingly created using the best ingredients and local, seasonal fruits and vegetables whenever possible.
