A ha-bushel of red delicious and a little over a peck of enterprise and yellow left from the bushel baskets of apples. Then two three-quarter filled gunnysacks of apples left to go for canning, applesauce. Well, a small batch of peaches for preserves, 14 half pints. Plus a batch of peach with diced apples in it 14 pints and canning is over. Another week and I can claim I will never ever do this again. Until around the first snowfall when I plan next years garden.
