A healthy 28 year old like me may go an entire year without needing a day of sick leave. A 50 year old worker whose spouse is undergoing chemo treatment will need considerably more. Making 3 days the maximum for coverage because thats the average usage misses the point entirely. We need meaningful policy that makes a difference in peopes lives, not just a symbolic political win.
