A huge thank you to the six alumni members plus their guest(s) for making the evening truly enjoyable. Even though some may have been in band at different times, we all shared a common experience. A special shout out to Brandon Walthers (1987-1989) for suggesting tonights venue. Besides taking many of the photographs, Brandon made sure everyone was fed and had a drink in our hands. To our astonishment, Brandon picked up the tab. Brandon, we owe you so much. Brandons guest, Wendy, was so so nice. She fit in just right. Eliya Hansen (1984-1986), thank you for your continuous enthusiasm. Mary was a very gracious guest. Shes invited anytime. Victoria Hansen (1987-1989) brought her mom. To this day, I could always depend on Vickie. Remember, parents were also an important part of our band family. Janina Allen Taylor (1986-1988) was a bundle of joy. She brought her family and gave our party a friendly spirit. Janinas loving husband also had interesting stories to tell. Karrie Mendez (1984-1986) came in with very kind words to say. Karrie has two sons in the military, with one serving in Afghanistan. We owe all service members our gratitude for their duty and sacrifice. Such a gracious alumni member. Phillip Fitzlaff (1986-1988) was the last to arrive and was the life of the party, he shared so many of his memories. It was fun to listen to his recollections of being in Mr. Ruben Cantus band class. And finally a special thanks to my wife since 1989. She loved everyone. Thank you daughter Durene, hubbie Ritchie, and the little ones, Lana and Niko, for welcoming a visit from my Las Vegas band family of long ago. Though we had a low turnout, we still had a VERY good time. Talk of another reunion has already been mentioned. Well see what happens. Maybe a fancy casino hotel suite ($$$) next time. Some of us want to have dinner together again on Tuesday. I can hardly wait.
