This campaign could very well determine the future of my artwork and my family, so we need to get awareness of this out there as far as we can! GROW OR DIE......MY KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN TO SUSTAIN MY ART CAREER, SUPPORT MY FAMILY AND TRANSFORM MACLEOD DRAGONS INTO A PROSPEROUS, SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS. OUR GOAL- TO RAISE $17,000 in 30 days. Be it $1 or $500, ever pledge makes a HUGE difference! Too many artists are giving up their dreams. I do not wish to be yet another. Help me supplement my income by helping us producing our calendar. Your pledges, no matter how small or large are crucial to MacLeod Dragons evolving beyond being one dimensional. By doing so, it will give us the tools to generate the supplemental income vital to providing for our family, the steadfastness to uphold our quality/integrity bottom line, generate capital to reinvest in the growth of our business, and provide all of our fans with the ability to show their love and support of our work with high quality, yet easily affordable and obtainable alternatives. For those who do not know what Kickstarter is, Kickstarter is a crowd-funding website, where people pledge/donate to help artists and creative minds raise the money to accomplish their dreams and goals. If by the end of the campaign, the targeted budget is not successful, no donations are taken and the artist receives nothing and no pledges/donations are collected. If the goal is met or surpassed, the artist will receive all the funds collected (Minus a 5% fee from Kickstarter, and a 3-5% fee from Amazon Payments) Our goal is to raise $17,000 in 30 days for our 2015 MacLeod Dragons Limited Edition Calendars. There are reward incentives for different levels of donation. We had originally hoped to raise enough money to get the minimum quantities allowed of the T-shirts and mugs as well, but even at the minimum per, the cost would have been over $30,000 for all 3 products. While this Kickstarter campaign is solely for the purpose of raising money to produce the Calendar, the more money we raise, the better.
